How it works! Indoor Living urn
INDOOR LIVING URN
HOW IT WORKS
The Living Urn Indoors/Patio is an eco-friendly way to honor a loved one who passed with a living memorial. This special porcelain urn features a growing system, making it easy for you to care for a tree or houseplant growing from the urn. The urn can also serve as a vase for cut flowers.
Many families do not have a special place to plant a tree memorial of a loved one. The Living Urn Indoors/Patio is a great alternative to the traditional Living Urn as it can be planted indoors and taken with a family if they move. It is also a memorial that can easily be passed down from generation to generation.

How Much of the Ashes Should I Use?
The Living Urn is designed to be used with as much or as little of one set of ashes, or cremated remains, as desired. It is large enough to hold all of the cremated remains and provide enough room for the additives and tree roots. We also have many customers that will plant a portion of the remains. This is the case when families split the cremated remains among siblings and plant multiple memory trees, or when people want to just want to keep some. Our instructions explain any adjustments to make when planting different amounts.
Does the Age of the Ashes Matter?
No, the age of the ashes or cremated remains has no effect. Many families will plant cremated remains that they have had for many years with The Living Urn.
