Sabrina & Milan’s Wedding at Burnaby Hall

Sabrina and Milan’s wedding was a stunning fusion of Serbian and Portuguese traditions, brought to life at the elegant Burnaby Hall. The ceremony was rich in culture, filled with meaningful rituals, traditional music, and the warmth of two families coming together.

The bride wore a soft off-white gown inspired by Portuguese bridal fashion, setting a romantic tone echoed in the floral design. The palette featured blush, ivory, and creamy whites flowers.

We had to place our floral centrepieces on top of very tall pedestals—a task that proved more challenging than expected. Even with our tallest ladder, I couldn’t quite reach the top! In a moment of desperation (and slight panic), I turned to a kind gentleman working at the venue and asked for help. Without hesitation, and with a big smile, he jumped in and gave us the boost we needed—literally.

The space was transformed with gold accents throughout: Tall gold centrepieces, elegant gold Chuppah, and a dramatic gold shimmer curtain that served as the ceremony’s backdrop from floor to ceiling One of the standout floral features was an all-hydrangea garland draped along the head table beneath the chuppah—a soft, cloud-like design that added grace and continuity from ceremony to reception.

This wedding was as heartfelt as it was beautiful—a perfect blend of culture, love, and design, with a few behind-the-scenes memories that made it even more special.

Bridal Bouquet

For her bouquet, Sabrina wanted something elegant and understated—something that wouldn’t compete with her stunning, full-bodied dress. She envisioned a clean, timeless look: just roses, long-stemmed, and minimal greenery. We brought that vision to life using 12 creamy Vandella roses, known for their soft petals and classic shape. The stems were left long and natural, giving the bouquet a graceful, elongated silhouette.

To keep the focus on the flowers and complement the soft ivory tones of her gown, we added delicate white satin ribbons that trailed gently as she walked. The bouquet was simple, refined, and incredibly romantic—just like the bride herself.
