Petalino Styled Shoots
Our styled shoots bring together beautiful florals, carefully chosen colour palettes, and talented vendors to create a complete and coordinated look. Each shoot is a collaboration that brings our ideas to life through beautiful floral designs while showcasing our style and creativity.
Winter Wonderland
For this winter wonderland style shoot, I used layers of white roses, Tulips and delicate seasonal flowers with loose, airy greenery and trailing textures. The champagne moment brought a playful, celebratory contrast to the soft winter palette. With the white florals, blush gown, clear umbrella and grand stone backdrop, it added a fun, editorial feel while still keeping the shoot elegant and romantic.
Cherry Blossom
For this cherry blossom shoot at Kitsilano Beach, I created a hanging floral chandelier from the tree, using layers of pink cherry blossoms, roses, tulips, gerberas and soft trailing florals. The design was made to feel as if it was growing naturally from the branches, with delicate ribbons adding movement in the ocean breeze.
The model wore two soft pink looks to complement the floral palette, while her daughter wore a fresh cherry blossom crown, created organically from branches of the tree. The bouquet was loose and garden-inspired, combining blush roses, tulips, white blooms and fine pink flowering branches for a romantic, airy spring feeling.
Hyatt Hotel - Snow Queen
Created for the Hyatt Hotel with my team of three florists and a clothing designer, this Ice Queen installation was a true collaboration of floral art, fashion and mechanics. The most important part of the design was building a structure that could keep the dress fresh and secure for ten days, while still looking light, dramatic and completely covered in flowers.
We used layers of white, icy blue and turquoise flowers to create the feeling of frost and ice. Every ornament placed around the base was handmade using different floral and natural elements. Her wings were made from natural branches painted white, while the textured top was created by individually painting and gluing eucalyptus leaves together. We added dried palm on the shoulders for a spiky, frozen look, and even covered the shoes in the same icy textures to make the entire piece feel like one complete winter fantasy.
Stephanie -Whyte Cliff
A soft coastal bridal shoot inspired by the light, texture and natural beauty of the white cliffs. We created an airy bouquet with white blooms, ranunculus, a statement king protea, eucalyptus and delicate dried textures, finished with flowing ivory ribbon.
The floral glove, worn all the way around her arm, was created with layers of small white flowers, orchids, dried petals and soft greenery. It was designed as a romantic alternative to traditional jewellery, adding an organic and editorial detail to her bridal look.
