Eucalyptus Dream

Alex and Graeme's wedding at Capilano Golf & Country Club

For this intimate wedding of just 12 guests, the bride envisioned a serene, airy atmosphere filled with lush greenery and delicate florals. Set against the stunning backdrop of Capilano Golf Club — with sweeping views of the course — the celebration was both understated and effortlessly elegant.

The floral palette centered around soft greens with an emphasis on texture. We used a variety of eucalyptus, including silver dollar, seeded, and baby blue, to build movement and depth. The couple chose soft white, dusty blue, and blush as accent colours to complement the natural surroundings and enhance the fresh, refined aesthetic.

Dinner took place on a narrow, elongated table, where space was limited — so we created a sophisticated garland-style runner made entirely of eucalyptus, accented by glowing candles. The greenery draped gently over both ends of the table, adding fullness and softness without overwhelming the setting. A few oval tables were also used, each featuring a central candle arrangement encircled by loose, elegant greenery.

For the ceremony, we lined the aisle with eucalyptus pew markers on each chair, leading to a beautifully styled arch adorned with white roses and cascading eucalyptus. The florals were designed asymmetrically, flowing from one side and across the top — framing the couple perfectly as they exchanged vows surrounded by nature and love.

Bridal Bouquet

The bride’s bouquet was designed to reflect the soft, airy garden feel that inspired the entire wedding. We created a lush arrangement in a muted green palette using a variety of eucalyptus textures—silver dollar, seeded, baby blue, and parvifolia—layered together to create depth and natural movement. Delicate white roses and airy baby’s breath were tucked in thoughtfully to bring a soft floral touch without overpowering the greenery. The bouquet was hand-tied with a long, white satin ribbon that trailed gracefully for a timeless, romantic finish.

Bridesmaid Bouquets

To let the bridal bouquet truly shine, the bridesmaids carried simple yet striking bundles made entirely of mixed eucalyptus. The clean, textural greenery created an elegant contrast while staying true to the theme—understated, graceful, and nature-inspired.
