"Exciting News: Petalino Flower Bar & Events Floral Design Shines in Today's Bride Magazine's Fall Edition!"

Our stunning style shoot, 'Peachy Skies,' has been featured in the prestigious Today's Bride Magazine. We chose beautiful peach and sky blue colours for this project, and it all came together beautifully thanks to a fantastic team effort.

BEING PART OF THE STYLE SHOOT: A GREAT HONOUR

Our amazing photographer Eunice Kwok's contacted me with her vision an asked my assistance to bring that vision to life with a unique flower design. Our objective was to create an exceptional style shoot worthy of publication.

we envisioned a style shoot that would not just showcase our skills but also tell a story—one that speaks of elegance, romance, and the mesmerizing allure of 'Peachy Skies.'

When we unveiled the final result, we knew we had achieved something extraordinary. Eunice's vision had come to life in a breathtaking symphony of colors, textures, and emotions. It was a style shoot that transcended convention, a testament to the power of collaboration and the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.

WEDDING BOUQUET

I personally enjoyed adding some unique elements into the bouquet. The addition of ombré painted dagger ferns and polka-dotted monstera leaves added an intriguing and unique touch, while maintaining the overall soft  delicate and airy aesthetic of the flowers. I added a couple of soft chiffon ribbons in peach and white for the final elegant touch. Flowers incorporated in the bouquet consisted of Anemone, Delphinium blue, Different shades of garden rose, Dagger fern, Monstera Leaves, Italian ruscas, Lisanthus

DISCOVERING THE ART OF HANDMADE FLORAL FAN

While I was searching for ways to bring a fresh and creative touch to my work, I came across the idea of merging two timeless elements. I constructed the mechanism using green florist wire and florist tape. I joined two sets of approximately 7 wire groups together to create a handle. Wrapping bullion wire around each segment added strength to the wires. Most of the flowers used were freshly picked from my garden or my houseplants.

GROOM'S BOUTONNIERE: A DAPPER FLORAL ACCENT

When it comes to wedding details, it's often the small, unexpected touches that make the biggest impact. Enter the world of boutonnieres, those little floral arrangements worn proudly by the groom and his groomsmen. Traditionally, boutonnieres feature a single flower and are affixed with a pin.

The idea of creating a non-traditional boutonniere was sparked by a chance discovery at my local wholesaler—a magnetic metal piece with an intriguing design. Its industrial charm immediately struck a chord, and I knew I had stumbled upon something special. This was the starting point for crafting an artistic and unconventional groom's boutonniere that would become a focal point of the groom's attire.

DECONSTRUCTED ARCH: DECONSTRUCTED ARCH: A MODERN TWIST ON TRADITIONAL ARCH

When it comes to weddings, the arch is a symbol of love, unity, and the beginning of a beautiful journey together. While traditional arches have their charm, we decided to take a bold step towards creativity by crafting a non-traditional wedding arch. Instead of a classic arch frame, we opted for stacking up gold centrepiece pedestals to achieve a deconstructed arch look, creating an airy masterpiece that placed a spotlight on roses and lush greenery. This lush tapestry of botanical beauty added depth and texture to the arch, creating a harmonious blend of colors and shapes. This lush tapestry of botanical beauty added depth and texture to the arch, creating a harmonious blend of colors and shapes. To infuse the arch with drama and romance, we attached some of the roses and greenery directly to the pedestals and the arch frame. This created a cascading and draping effect. To complete the enchanting atmosphere, we adorned the aisle with candles of varying heights, casting a warm and romantic glow. A long white runner added a touch of classic elegance.

ELEGANT ENGLISH FLORAL BACKDROP AND SYMMETRICAL GOLD BOAT FLORAL CENTREPIECES

Our first decision was to craft an English-style floral backdrop, adorned with an array of florals in our theme colors, transported our guests to a world of timeless elegance. It served as a living tapestry that not only complemented the theme but also infused the atmosphere with a sense of romance and charm. At the center of our dining table, we placed three symmetrical floral centerpieces. These centerpieces, housed in gold boat-shaped vases, added a touch of luxury and refinement. The symmetry in their arrangement created a sense of balance and harmony. o extend the floral magic to the dining table itself, we carefully selected some of the blooms and attached them to a draped peach chiffon table runner.
